Yve Rice, Owner and Pole & Aerial Instructor

Having learnt in Australia and in the UK, Yve first began her pole and aerial journey in 2006, starting with pole dancing, followed by aerial silks, aerial hoop and polesilks. She has trained with some of the word's best pole dancers and instructors, including Jenyne Butterfly, Miss Filly and Zoraya Judd. She has also competed as a finalist in national competitions, placing in the top 5 in both Miss Pole Dance UK Semipro 2012 and in Polenastics UK Pole Championships 2013, Professional category.

Yve founded Pole Sensations as a result of her passion for teaching and gains deep satisfaction in helping people to develop their skills and gain confidence through group classes and workshops, private tuition or a mixture of both.

Lyndsey Hall, Aerial Instructor

Lyndsey started attending pole lessons 8 years ago, but then fell in love with aerial silks and hoop when she attended a circus class. Her love for aerial was clear and she began training as an instructor in silks and then hoop and has been teaching for over 3 years.

Lyndsey is an enthusiastic instructor and her passion for aerial is evident in her teaching. She is supportive and encourages students to achieve whilst championing their successes.

Beks Ellis, Pole Instructor

Beks attended her first pole dancing class more than 7 years ago to support a friend and enjoyed it so much she continued to attend classes.

After some time travelling overseas, she couldn't wait to return to the studio to attend classes again and then went on to train as an instructor. Beks motivates her students with a fun and lighthearted manner and loves seeing their progress.

Charlie Brundle, Pole Instructor

Charlie started pole dancing in 2014 after agreeing to try it out with a friend. Having done gymnastics as a child she fell in love with the acrobatic side of pole dancing and can usually be found somewhere upside down. She trained to teach in 2019 with the aim of helping others get as much enjoyment as she does out of the sport.

Charlie feels Pole Sensations is an extended family where everyone is accepted. When you arrive at the studio any worries, work stresses and real life are left at the door so it is the perfect place for some 'me time' whilst getting fit at the same time.

Sophie Heaviside, Pole Instructor

Sophie spent over 15 years attending ballet, tap and modern dance lessons as well as teaching younger pupils as she progressed. After university she decided to step out of her comfort zone so tried pole dancing in 2015. She loved attending classes so much that she jumped at the opportunity to train as an instructor.

Sophie is an avid believer that everyone can pole dance and brings plenty of energy to class! She is patient and encouraging so students leave class feeling excited about their achievments!

Natalee Burns, Pole Instructor

Natalee started pole dancing in 2012 to take herself out of her comfort zone to try something new and also with the hope of meeting new people. After leaving her first class feeling motivated and confident she carried on poling for a year or so before leaving to move abroad for a new job.

After a 4 year break and returning back to the UK with a yoga teaching certification under her belt too. Natalee leapt at the opportunity to share her passion and admiration for pole fitness. Pole Sensations is like a close-knit family and their constant support and encouragement is amazing! Natalee loves nailing new moves but loves to see other peoples progression even more so than her own… She can definitely be found hanging upside down in a Fairy - her favourite move!

Lauren Peppitt, Pole instructor

Lauren first started her pole journey in 2011 and returned in 2018 after a 5-year break, shortly after having a baby. She believes pole is the perfect antidote to life and that Pole Sensations is a safe and nurturing environment for everyone needing to escape the world for a little while. Lauren started training as an instructor in 2021 to help others get the same sense of empowerment she has from pole dancing and enjoys seeing students surprise themselves when they nail a move they weren’t expecting. A lover of strength moves, country music and coffee, she can usually be found flexing her muscles in the sanctuary of her second home at Pole Sensations.

Nicola Martin, Receptionist

Nicola Joined the Pole Sensations family as a receptionist in February 2019. She started pole dancing with us back in 2017 after deciding to try something new and enjoy fitness and she has been hooked ever since.

For Nicola, Pole Sensations is a supportive and inspiring environmnet which has helped improve her body confidence and mental health and she believes everyone should try pole - It will change your life!

Jane Gardner, Receptionist

Jane had her first pole dancing lesson in 2015 when she accompanied her daughter to a beginner course. After a short break due to juggling commitments she is now back and loving her weekly lessons!

Jane says 'The lessons are so much fun and really build my strength and confidence'. Jane Loves being part of the Pole Sensations team. Everyone is so warm and friendly. She really enjoys being part of the reception team and chatting to other members and welcoming newcomers.

Fay Whitehead, Admin

Fay started her journey back in 2015 and quickly found her love for pole. She has also recently found a passion for aerial hoop.

Fay has been part of our admin team for a couple of years now and she enjoys having the opportunity to engage with students. Especially new students enquiring about lessons and being a part of starting their pole or aerial journey.

'It's great to be part of the Pole Sensations family, from either being in class or helping behind the scenes. Coming to class is about much more than just fitness for me, it's been fantastic to have an escape from real life and enter the pole bubble, which has extended to being part of the team also"
